House Cleaner Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented House Cleaner to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring a clean, organized, and sanitary environment for our clients. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, can operate with minimal supervision, and possesses strong attention to detail and physical stamina to perform the required duties effectively.
Key Responsibilities
Perform a variety of general cleaning tasks, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors. Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including toilets, sinks, bathtubs, showers, and fixtures. Clean and disinfect kitchen areas, including countertops, appliances (exterior of stovetops, ovens, refrigerators, microwaves), and sinks. Empty and clean trash and recycling bins, and replace liners. Make beds and change linens and towels as required. Polish furniture, mirrors, windows, and other surfaces to ensure a high standard of appearance. Organize and declutter living spaces as needed. Safely handle and use various cleaning chemicals and equipment, following all health and safety regulations. Monitor and report on the inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, notifying management of any necessary repairs or damages. Communicate effectively and professionally with clients and team members, addressing any requests or concerns with a positive attitude.
Qualifications and Skills
Experience: Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience is preferred, but on-the-job training may be provided.
Physical Stamina: The ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and lift up to 25 pounds (occasionally more) for extended periods is essential.
Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail to ensure all areas are thoroughly cleaned to the highest standards.
Time Management: Excellent organizational and time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within scheduled time frames.
Reliability: Must be trustworthy, dependable, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Communication: Strong ability to understand instructions and communicate clearly with clients and supervisors.
Transportation: A valid driver's license and reliable transportation to travel to various client locations may be required.
Working Conditions
