This is a hands-on leadership role at the intersection of brand strategy, creative direction and team leadership. You will shape compelling ideas, guide execution and ensure our work delivers meaningful business results for our clients
Key Responsibilities
Creative Team Leadership and Accountability
- Manage and mentor a multidisciplinary team (Art Directors, Designers, Production and Copywriter)
- Set a high bar for creative quality and consistency across all deliverables, including brand guidelines, websites, print collateral, digital ads, video production, direct mail, social graphics, product design, and more.
- Align team structure and workflows to maximize efficiency and output
- Conduct regular 1:1s and annual reviews focused on accountability and growth.
Brand Strategy Ownership
- Lead development of brand positioning, messaging and creative platforms
- Translate client business goals into clear, actionable creative strategies
- Partner with account leadership and cross-functional teams to guide clients through strategic decisions
- Ensure all creative work is grounded in strong, differentiated brand thinking
Operational Excellence
- Participate as a member of the agency’s cross-functional Operations Leadership Team
- Serve as a senior strategic voice and escalation point in client relationships
- Lead and support key presentations, pitches, and workshops
- Partner with sales and client services to align timelines, scopes, and resources
- Identify gaps, improve processes, and help scale the creative function as the agency grows
Qualifications

- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex documents
- Strong knowledge of financial management principles, budgeting and financial analysis
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

Requirements
- 10 years of experience in creative roles within an agency or similar environment
- Proven experience leading and developing creative teams
- Strong background in brand strategy and positioning (not just execution)
- A portfolio that demonstrates both strategic thinking and high-quality creative work
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and Figma.
- Familiarity with tools like Asana, Slack, and version control or handoff processes.
- Ability to lead in a digital-first environment, partner with developers, and oversee web, product, and print collateral.
- Confidence and presence in client-facing settings
- Ability to balance big-picture thinking with hands-on leadership
- Strong communication skills—you can clearly articulate the “why” behind the work
- Comfort working with remote team members across time zones
- Desire to work in a collaborative and inclusive team environment
Pay: $90,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
