What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bartender position at 19 Degrees Sports Bar & Grill?
19 Degrees Sports Bar & Grill is a small, locally-owned restaurant and bar located inside a hockey rink. We’re seeking a bartender who can maintain a clean and orderly work space, mix and serve drinks, while building and maintaining relationships with our guests.
Responsibilities:
- Inspects the bar prior to opening to ensure that adequate supplies are available.
- Maintains and cleans bar area and equipment.
- Requests additional supplies as necessary and stocks the bar.
- Follow set-up procedures.
- Prepares garnishes, mixes and pre-mixed drinks.
- Greet guests.
- Mixes, prepares and serves drinks to members and guests according to the recipes approved by the Manager.
- Collects payment for drinks served.
- Cleans and lock ups the bar area according to proper closing procedures.
- Carefully follows all laws and policies and procedures regarding alcoholic beverage service
- Continually practices beverage and revenue control procedures.
- Completes other appropriate work assignments as requested by a manager.
Requirements:
- Must be 21
- Must be TABC Certified
- Must have the physical ability to move and hook up kegs
- Must be able to responsibly handle cash and card transactions.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $5.00 - $7.00 per hour
