Position Summary
The Front of House Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a busy, multi-area restaurant while leading and supporting front-of-house staff. This role focuses on staff development, scheduling, guest satisfaction, and operational excellence.
The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, team builder, and problem solver with restaurant leadership experience and a commitment to delivering exceptional hospitality.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead front-of-house operations during service and remain visible on the floor during peak business hours
- Foster a guest-focused culture that consistently delivers exceptional service
- Supervise, coach, and develop front-of-house team members
- Create and manage employee schedules
- Assist with training, onboarding, and continued staff development
- Support employee engagement and team-building initiatives
- Help coordinate promotions, events, and sales-driving programs
- Monitor and improve operational efficiency and workflow
- Address guest concerns promptly and professionally
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and overall appearance of the restaurant
- Ensure compliance with company policies and service standards
Qualifications
- 2 years of restaurant management or supervisory experience preferred
- Strong leadership and team development skills
- Excellent customer service and guest relations abilities
- Experience with staff scheduling and performance management
- Ability to remain calm and effective in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and follow-up skills
- Experience with restaurant POS systems preferred
- Knowledge of craft beer and the hospitality industry is a plus
- Self-motivated, dependable, and results-oriented
- Availability to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
