Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team in the hospitality industry. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a warm welcome and a seamless dining experience. This role requires excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage guest relations effectively.
Duties
- Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and friendly demeanor.
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently using the POS system.
- Assist guests with inquiries regarding menu items, restaurant policies, and special events.
- Maintain an organized waitlist and communicate wait times to guests accurately.
- Ensure that the dining area is clean and well-maintained at all times.
- Collaborate with restaurant staff to ensure smooth service flow during busy periods.
- Handle guest complaints or concerns with professionalism and empathy.
- Utilize phone etiquette to take reservations and answer calls in a courteous manner.
Experience
- Previous experience in guest services or customer service roles is preferred.
- Familiarity with restaurant operations and hospitality standards is a plus.
- Experience with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- A passion for providing exceptional guest relations and enhancing the dining experience.
