What are the responsibilities and job description for the Host/Hostess position at 1855?
- MUST be Personable and Social
- Enjoys convesing with people
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced restaurant
- Welcome guest upon arrival
- Demonstrate strong phone skills, take reservations by phone and walk-ins.
- Time management and reservation system skills, in particular Toast. (This can be taught)
- Seat guests in a timely manner
- Communicate with kitchen and wait staff frequently to ensure they are not overbooked
- Assists wait staff as needed.
- Assist in clearing tables to ensure a fast turn over for the next guest.
- MUST be available Easter Sunday, April 5th from 8:30am-3:30PM
