Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes with attention to quality and presentation, including fine dining and catering menus
- Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring smooth workflow during shifts
- Supervise kitchen staff, including cooks, dishwashers, and support personnel, fostering teamwork and high standards
- Manage inventory control and food safety procedures to ensure compliance with health regulations
- Assist in menu planning and food production for special events or daily service
- Monitor food handling practices to uphold hygiene standards and minimize waste
- Coordinate with the dietary department for specialized meal preparation when necessary
