Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Supervising Pharmacist to lead our pharmacy team and ensure the delivery of exceptional patient care. Duties
- Supervise and coordinate pharmacy staff, including pharmacists and pharmacy technicians, to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality patient service
- Oversee medication dispensing processes, ensuring accuracy, safety, and compliance with all regulatory standards including HIPAA and state pharmacy laws
- Provide clinical guidance on medication management
- Manage inventory levels for medications, ensuring proper storage, documentation, and timely reordering.
- Utilize pharmacy software systems (EMR/EHR) to document patient interactions, medication histories, and treatment plans accurately
Requirements
- Valid pharmacist license in good standing with relevant state board requirements
- Demonstrated clinical pharmacy experience with a focus on patient assessment and medication therapy management
- Excellent communication skills for effective patient service
Experience with Micro Merchant Systems (MMS)/PrimeRx pharmacy software is preferred, but not required. Training will be provided for the right candidate
