Clinical Coordinator / Art Therapist (Part Time)

Overview

The Clinical Coordinator is responsible for overseeing clinical staff and supporting the delivery of trauma-informed therapeutic services to children and their families. This role provides clinical supervision to clinicians and interns, coordinates site operations and staff scheduling, and assists with program administration reporting requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee clinical staff to ensure adherence to professional standards and best practices in the provision of trauma-informed services.
• Coordinate site operations, staff scheduling, and assist with program administrative tasks.
• Provide weekly clinical supervision to clinicians; maintain documentation of supervision.
• Oversee and supervise counseling and social work interns when needed.
• Manage inventory and ordering of art supplies.
• Plan and conduct art therapy sessions with children, parents, and families as indicated.
• Develop group and individual treatment plans and objectives.
• Provide individual in-person/phone consultation with parents/guardians.
• Maintain accurate and complete records on all clients, including group treatment plans, client progress notes, discharge summary plans, and follow-up and referral information.
• Maintain DCP&P reports and inform Director of Counseling of reports made.
• Generate outcomes and monthly reports from client statistics, assist in submission of reports.
• Work with program coordinator to ensure staff attend trainings and professional development to increase their knowledge and skills in DV/SV, child abuse, and trauma.
• Participate in supervision meetings with Program Coordinator and the Director of Counseling and attend other meetings and trainings as required.
• Assist program coordinator with community outreach, presentations, and other program events.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social work or professional counseling.
• LPC/LCSW required.
• Registration/board certification (ATR/ATR-BC) by the American Art Therapy Association preferred.
• Supervisory credentials (ACS/ATCS) preferred.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience providing counseling to children and families.
• Ability to work evenings is required.
• Experience providing clinical supervision and guidance to clinicians and interns.
• Must have experience in the field of domestic and sexual violence, child abuse and trauma; experience providing victim-centered trauma-informed services.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Drivers license in good standing.
• Cleared fingerprinting/background check, CARI check.

• Work primarily in a climate-controlled environment with minimal exposure to adverse conditions.

Pay: $40.00 - $45.00 per hour
