Job OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of clinical experience in women’s health, providing high-quality, evidence-based care to women across the lifespan. You will work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive gynecologic, reproductive, prenatal, and preventive services.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide primary and specialty care to women, including annual well-woman exams, family planning, contraception counseling, preconception counseling, prenatal and postpartum care, and management of menopausePerform gynecological assessments (pelvic exams, Pap smears, screening tests)Diagnose and manage common women’s health conditions (e.g., infections, menstrual disorders, hormonal issues)Provide obstetric care in collaboration with obstetricians (if applicable)Order, interpret, and follow up on diagnostic tests (e.g., labs, imaging)Prescribe medications, contraceptives, and hormonal therapies, per state and organizational scope of practiceOffer health promotion, disease prevention, and patient education (including sexual and reproductive health)Develop and maintain patient care plans, document patient encounters, and maintain accurate medical records in the EHR systemCoordinate care and refer patients to specialists as neededParticipate in quality improvement initiatives, protocol development, and evidence-based practice implementationProvide counseling and support around reproductive decisions, fertility, and family planningServe as a patient advocate, promoting holistic, culturally sensitive careQualificationsMaster’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing (NP program)Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner in the State of New YorkCertification as a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner (e.g., through a nationally recognized body)Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in women’s health (gynecology, reproductive health, prenatal care, etc.)Strong knowledge of women’s health issues across the lifespanExcellent assessment, diagnostic, and clinical decision-making skillsProficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systemsStrong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to educate and counsel patientsAbility to work both independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary teamCommitment to culturally competent, patient-centered careBLS/ACLS certification (if required by organization)Preferred Qualifications (Optional)Experience in underserved or community health settingsBilingual (e.g., Spanish)Experience in quality improvement or protocol developmentPrior involvement in research or patient education programsWork ScheduleFull-time (or specify part-time)(Optionally) On-call responsibilities, if relevant(Optionally) Some weekend or evening shifts, depending on clinic hoursCompensation & BenefitsEstimated Salary:$125,000 - $135,000Based on experienceBenefits:Health, dental, and vision insuranceRetirement plan (e.g., 401k or 403b)Paid time off (PTO), sick leave, and holidaysMalpractice insurance reimbursement after 1 yearFlexible scheduling (optional)Why Join UsBe part of a mission-driven team providing high-quality, women-centered careOpportunity to grow professionally and influence women’s health initiativesSupportive, collaborative environment with physicians, midwives, and other cliniciansCommitment to equity, diversity, and patient-centered care

Salary : $125,000 - $140,000
