Job Summary
I am looking for someone to join our small team in giving high quality service to high-end accounts in the area. We pride ourselves in giving the best service available and are looking for someone who believes they can deliver to our reputation. This job will start as part-time with the opportunity to quickly go full time and have increases in hourly pay.
Knowing how to service a pool is NOT a requirement. We are looking for someone who is personable, detail oriented, presentable, in shape, able to work alone with personal accountability, good with math, comfortable following directions, a clean driving record, and all around positive attitude. There is a significant amount of training for the right candidate so we are looking for someone who wants to start a career with room to grow. If you are not looking for something long-term, we are not looking for you.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and servicing residential swimming pools, ensuring they are clean, safe, and functioning properly. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.
Duties
- Perform regular pool cleaning and maintenance tasks, including skimming debris, vacuuming, and brushing walls.
- Test water chemistry and adjust chemicals as necessary to maintain proper balance.
- Inspect pool equipment for functionality and perform routine repairs or replacements as needed.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for equipment repair and maintenance tasks.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns regarding pool maintenance.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed and communicate any issues or recommendations to clients.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards while working in various environments.
Skills
- Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot
- Experience in pool cleaning techniques and chemical balancing for optimal water quality (not required, but a plus).
- Ability to maintain a clean work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving with attention to detail in all tasks performed.
