Responsibilities

• Assist with recipe creation, pastry assembly, and food presentation to ensure delicious and visually stunning products
• Support food production by preparing ingredients, assembling baked goods, and maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen
• Handle packaging of baked items and pastries with precision to ensure freshness and attractive presentation
• Contribute to food safety protocols by adhering to proper food handling procedures and maintaining hygiene standards
• Help with general food preparation tasks such as slicing, mixing, and portioning ingredients for various recipes
• Support catering events or restaurant service by setting up displays and assisting with customer orders
• Maintain organized workstations, monitor inventory levels of supplies, and assist in cleaning as needed

Skills

• Hands-on experience in bakery or cafe environments, with demonstrated skill in baking and pastry production, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards
• Strong knowledge of food handling, safety standards, sanitation protocols, and hygiene practices in a commercial kitchen setting
• Excellent knife skills for precise cutting and food prep tasks
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards
• Customer service skills to assist clients or guests with their orders or inquiries
• Familiarity with packaging techniques suitable for baked goods and pastries
