Job Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and personable Bartender to join our dynamic hospitality team. Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately using POS systems such as Toast POS.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner, ensuring excellent customer service at all times.
- Manage multiple drink orders efficiently while maintaining proper time management skills during busy periods.
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and work surfaces, adhering to health regulations.
- Handle cash transactions accurately through POS systems, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities.
- Restock bar supplies as needed and assist with inventory management.
- Support catering events, banquets, or nightclub functions by providing prompt service in diverse settings.
- Uphold responsible alcohol service policies and monitor guest intoxication levels to promote safety.
Experience
- Previous experience working as a bartender is preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast POS is highly desirable.
- Strong skills in sales, serving, and upselling beverages to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques.
- Experience with retail math, basic math skills for cash handling, and restaurant operations are advantageous.
- Proven ability to manage time effectively during high-volume shifts while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously in hospitality settings including brewing environments or food industry venues.
