Job Summary
A local government agency is searching for a program manager. This individual will coordinate and manage the activities of juvenile programs in Iberia, St. Martin, and St. Mary parishes under the leadership of the executive director of the agency. The duties and responsibilities of the position are complex and have a strong impact on children and families in the communities of the 16th Judicial District.
Responsibilities
– To ensure the implementation of high quality programs for at-risk youth while remaining in compliance with grantors and funders, to coordinate all activities and operations of the programs, and to supervise and support the staff of the juvenile programs
Skills
Assessment and intervention skills, leadership skills, administrative skills, supervisory skills, written and verbal communication skills.
Qualifications – Master’s degree in counseling, education, social services or related field and minimum of two years of experience in supervision, management or administration. License or provisional license in a mental health related field required.

Pay: $47,000.00 - $57,000.00 per year
