New 168 Supermarket Hiring in Vallejo, (Training site in Concord)

Positions and Responsibilities:

Grocery Clerk: Organize and stock merchandise, ensure grocery section is well-stocked; Inspect expiration date of products; Update and track inventory; Assist with receiving, stocking, filling, and rotating merchandise; Provide outstanding customer service

Meat Clerk: Pack and price products; Operate bandsaw machine, mincing machine, and other tools to handle meat products.

Seafood Clerk: Pack and price products; Operate tools to handle seafood products; Assist customers in picking and handling seafood products.

Cashier/Customer Service: Greet guests, answer inquiries, bag groceries, scan items; Receive payments including cash, check, credit card/debit card, voucher, automatic debit; Issue receipts, refunds, credits, or changes; Count money in cash drawers at the beginning and the end of shifts.

General Helper: Clean work areas (Break Room, Washing Room; Shopping Area, etc.); Collect shopping carts from the parking lot.

Bakery Clerk: Mix and bake ingredients to produce bread, rolls, cookies, cakes, and other baked goods; Check products for quality and identify damaged or expired goods; Assist customer check-out.

Hot Deli Clerk: Cooking including stir-fry, dim sum, congee, and noodles, BBQ; Helping and assisting Kitchen; Assisting customer check-out.

Requirements:

• Able to periodically stand for long periods
• Able to carry objects over 25 lbs
• Available to work flexible schedules (afternoon shifts, weekends & holidays)
• Non-US Citizen applicants must have a legal work permit
