About Us:
At 168 Cabinet Outlet, our specialization revolves around transforming kitchens and bathrooms into a client’s dream vision. Our showroom showcases various materials but primarily focuses on cabinets and countertops which is typically paired with services such as demolition, cabinet installation, and countertop installation. As a vastly growing business, we are eagerly in pursuit of a new team member to aid in meeting our high demand!
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Greeting customers when they walk-in and answering / assisting customers with any questions they may have.
- Guide customers throughout a project’s timeline from start to finish. Manage a full sales cycle: design consultation, quoting, scheduling, and project closing.
- Assisting customers in selecting material finishes.
- Learn and use Home Designer software to help clients visualize their projects (training provided). Must pay attention to meticulous details and have the ability to quickly problem solve.
- Deliberately explaining designs to customers and showcasing 3D images.
- Usage of Quickbooks to create quotes.
- Keep a well-kept desk area.
- Keeping an organized work station and organized files.
- Convert leads provided by the business.
- Send professional emails and follow-ups to customers.
- Answering phone calls.
- Communicating with team members when any questions and/or issues may arise is a must.
- Punctuality is a must as we have very tight schedules.
- Providing professional customer service when interacting with customers is a must.
Work Environment:
- Personal desk area.
- Professional business casual work attire.
- Once an employee is properly trained, the employee will be working independently majority of the time.
Schedule:
- Set work schedule, Tuesday - Saturday.
- Flexible time off when requested two weeks in advance.
Opportunities:
- Ability to learn new skills and/or doing exceptional work may lead to increased earnings over time.
- Feedback and performance reviews are provided every 6 months, focusing on strengths and areas for improvement.
- Hands-on training and ongoing support.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous sales experience is not required by preferred.
- College degree is not required but preferred.
- Knowledge of construction, remodeling, or interior design is a plus.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- High attention to detail and strong organizational habits.
- Basic math skills required, including the ability to make measurement conversion (inches to feet, square footage calculations ect.)
- Comfortable with Gmail, Google Drive, Quickbooks, and general computer use.
- Ability to learn layout / design tools and confidently speak with clients.
- Possession of a valid driver's license.
- Proficiency in Spanish, though not obligatory, would be beneficial.
