LOCATION: Mobile, AL DUTIES: Assisting the project team and ensuring project execution On-Time, On-Quality, and On- Cost. Reporting of the project status to customers and to the internal organization. Helping with projects in the FAL Mobile in collaboration with the Industrial Engineering department in Europe. Developing most efficient ways to use people, machines, materials and information. Developing management control systems. Applying statistical methods and performing mathematical calculations to determine manufacturing processes, and production standards. Designing production planning and control systems. Designing methods to ensure product quality. Evaluating effects of product design changes for management review, action, and control. Helping with coordinating quality control objectives and activities to resolve production problems, maximize product reliability, and minimize cost. REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or relevant field and 3 years in any job title involving experience in manufacturing or assembly environment in the Aerospace industry. Prior experience must also include the following: Working experience in technical or shop floor improvement project management; Applying Production and Quality rules in aviation; Analyzing existing manufacturing processes and identifying areas for improvement; Experience in designing and implementing efficient production workflows to maximize productivity by applying Lean manufacturing methodologies; and Experience making technical decisions based on solution analysis and risk evaluation.
