Bartender

Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and personable Bartender to join our team. Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a diverse selection of beverages including cocktails, spirits, wine, craft beers, and non-alcoholic options while maintaining high standards of quality and presentation
• Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner to ensure excellent customer service and build lasting relationships
• Manage bar inventory, restock supplies, and ensure proper storage of all beverages according to safety standards
• Process cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, while handling cash safely and efficiently
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety regulations and sanitation standards
• Develop new beverage recipes and enhance existing offerings to keep the menu fresh and exciting
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food and beverage service for events or special occasions

Skills

• Extensive knowledge of mixology techniques, cocktail recipes, spirits, wine varieties, and craft beer trends
• Proficiency with POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS for processing transactions
• Strong time management skills to handle busy service periods efficiently while maintaining quality standards
• Proven experience in fine dining or upscale hospitality environments with a focus on beverage service
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally
• Experience in beverage recipe development and food pairing knowledge to enhance guest experience
• Familiarity with food safety protocols, sanitation practices, and alcohol service regulations
• Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting while ensuring accuracy in cash handling and order processing
• Basic math skills for retail math calculations such as change making, sales tracking, and inventory management
• Previous experience with catering or retail environments is a plus but not required
