Please click here to learn more about our locations. Job Description Shriners Children's Chicago has an opportunity for a full-time Operating Room RN. Join a team of professionals committed to improving children's lives. Our top healthcare professionals excel in their practices and provide compassionate, family-centered care to children who need it most. Hours: Our OR team enjoys a quality work-life balance schedule with no scheduled OR cases on weekends and holidays. Will need to take call at least 1x/week and rotating weekends. Key Responsibilities: The OR Registered Nurse provides nursing care to our pediatric patients within the operating room, performs assessments and interventions designed to keep the patients safe during surgery. Assists the physician in accomplishing the plan of care for the patient and to provide continuity between the patient care unit and the Operating Room. Required Qualifications: BSN degree required or in progress Illinois RN license 2 years OR experience Preferred Qualifications: CNOR highly preferred Scrub experience Prior pediatric acute care, plastic reconstructive surgery, orthopedic and spine experience a plus The pay range for this position is $47.08 - $70.62. Compensation is determined based on years of relevant experience and departmental equity.
