About the Role
1440 Foods is hiring a Maintenance Planner/Scheduler (CMMS) to keep our food manufacturing equipment running at its best. You’ll build and manage the maintenance schedule, run our preventive maintenance program, manage work orders in our CMMS, and keep the parts room stocked so our technicians have what they need. What You’ll Do
- Build and manage the maintenance schedule for all plant equipment, adjusting as priorities shift
- Develop and run preventive maintenance (PM) programs to improve equipment reliability
- Create, track, and close work orders in the CMMS, including labor hours and materials used
- Manage the spare parts room and keep critical parts and materials in stock
- Coordinate with maintenance technicians, supervisors, and outside vendors on service requests
- Track and report KPIs such as work order completion and schedule compliance
- Analyze maintenance trends and recommend process improvements and cost savings
- Partner with production and cross-functional teams to minimize downtime
What You Bring
- 2 years of maintenance planning or scheduling experience in a manufacturing environment
- Hands-on experience with a CMMS for preventive maintenance, work orders, and spare parts inventory
- Food or beverage manufacturing experience preferred
- Working knowledge of OSHA, FDA, and GMP requirements
- Strong organization, problem solving, and communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- High school diploma or equivalent
Work Environment
- Mix of office and manufacturing floor; much of the day is spent at a computer
- PPE required in all manufacturing areas; moving machinery and elevated noise levels on the floor
- Frequent sitting, standing, and walking; occasional lifting up to 30 lbs
- Ability to bend, kneel, reach, climb, and perform repetitive motions
