Job Title: Full-Time Rental Manager
Job Overview:
This is a dynamic position that requires a person with a varied skill set and a readiness to take on significant responsibilities. The Rental Manager will market apartments and commercial rentals, manage tenant relations, and ensure units are move-in ready. They will also be responsible for closing out leases, communicating with maintenance staff to determine tenant damages, and handling lease violations and evictions when necessary. The position requires strong emotional intelligence (EQ), decision-making abilities, and the capacity to handle confrontational situations in a professional manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Market apartments and commercial rentals.
- Show units to prospective tenants.
- Pre-qualify prospective tenants.
- Finalize and close out leases with new and existing tenants.
- Communicate with tenants regarding lease violations or changes.
- Execute evictions when necessary.
- Interact with other professionals for the business.
- Verify apartments are move-in ready.
- Communicate with maintenance staff to assess tenant damages during move-out.
- Ensure any necessary repairs are handled by the maintenance team.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- High emotional intelligence for handling confrontations and decision-making.
- Experience in rental management and property maintenance.
- Physical fitness to handle job requirements (walking flights of stairs, lifting).
- Valid driver's license required.
- Preference given toward a Spanish binlingual speaker
Work Details:
- Full-time position.
- Salary range: $30,000 - $45,000 annually (based on experience and skills).
- Flexible schedule, paid time off and 7 holidays.
- 8-hour shifts, Monday to Friday.
- Work is in person.
