IT Generalist

What You’ll Do Driver Technology Support • Be a main point of contact for drivers needing help with ELDs, tablets, mobile apps, and in-cab technology. • Troubleshoot ELD malfunctions and ensure any repairs or replacements meet DOT requirements. • Deploy updates to driver devices and technology with minimal disruption to their schedules. • Make sure every driver has the tools they need to operate safely, efficiently, and confidently. General IT Support • Respond to day-to-day technical issues for employees across all departments. • Diagnose and resolve semi-routine system, device, or access problems. • Coordinate with vendors or internal teams when issues need escalation. • Provide excellent customer service—especially to users who may not be technical. Documentation & Process • Document troubleshooting steps, system updates, and resolutions. • Help build and maintain clear knowledge base articles for both office staff and drivers. • Participate in improving IT processes and best practices. Projects & Technology Rollouts • Assist with hardware refreshes, software migrations, and new technology deployments. • Collaborate with team members to evaluate and introduce new tools and systems. What You Bring • Strong communication skills with a helpful, patient, and friendly approach. • Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office and Outlook. • Experience with Windows 10/11, Android, and iOS. • Ability to troubleshoot issues both on-site and remotely. • Basic familiarity with programming or scripting languages (VBScript, HTML, PHP, C#, C , XML, SQL) is a plus.
