Job Description:
The Food and Beverage Cashier is responsible for the accurate handling of restaurant financial transactions.
- Process transactions, including sales, payment processing, and making change, according to POS and cash handling procedures.
- Properly and accurately balance the cash drawer daily.
- Maintains all credit card receipts, room charge receipts, comps and vouchers with required signatures.
- Organizes paperwork in an orderly manner.
- Be knowledgeable of property facilities, services, hours of operation, in-house events, conferences, and amenities to proactively assist guests.
- May be required to answer the phones in specific restaurants.
- Perform other duties as requested by management.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
- At least 1 year work experience in similar setting helpful.
- Previous money handling skills preferred.
- Computer skills a plus
