Actual compensation within that range will be dependent upon, but may not be limited to, the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and applicable laws As a full-time employee of Diversey, you will be eligible to enroll in our robust benefits package on your first day which includes, but is not limited to, the following. · Medical, dental, vision coverage · 401k (w/ employer match up to 6%) · 15 paid vacation days (prorated based on start date) · 9 paid holidays annually (prorated based on start date) · 2 floating holidays (prorated based on start date) · 48 hours of sick time (prorated based on start date) POSITION SUMMARY The Repack Specialist is responsible for repackaging different chemicals, keeping their assigned areas clean and any other tasks as assigned. Candidate will be required to operate a forklift. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Repacking chemicals from totes/drums into pails and cases Printing labels Communicating with supervisor to ensure documentation of process improvements Helping to control inventory by ensuring accurate posting of batches and assisting with inventory cycle counting Communicating maintenance needs to the supervisor Must be able to follow detailed instructions to produce products Birko is an ISO 9001 Certified company. All positions require the following: Maintaining an awareness of and following procedures If procedures fail to result in desired outcome notifying supervisor Being involved in updates to procedures and suggesting improvements REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: 1-3 years of manufacturing experience Organized and detail oriented Must be at work and on time consistently Forklift certification and/or training Able to work in team environment Working knowledge of computers Speak, read, and write in English Physical Requirements: This is a very physical position. Incumbent must be able to stand on his/her feet all day, moving, lifting. Must be able to lift up to 50-75 pounds frequently and throughout the day. Incumbent must wear PPE including Chemical Splash Goggles, coveralls, gloves and steel toed shoes.
