Part time cleaner needed for 2 AirBnbs located across the street from each other in historic downtown West Dundee. The first property - 124 Lofts - is a luxury boutique hotel. This property offers 4 separate urban one-bedroom lofts in the heart of downtown Dundee. Our property is a newly renovated 125-year-old building with timber ceilings, exposed brick walls and beautifully restored hardwood floors. Each room in the lofts has been tastefully decorated and features a king-size mattress, private bathroom and a kitchenette.
Our second location across the street - Kildahl House - is a newly renovated 100-year-old farmhouse. Kildahl House offers 4 charming one-bedroom farmhouse suites. Each private apartment is light, airy and tastefully decorated to provide a luxury experience. Each suite features a small seating area, bathroom, a king-size bed and a galley style kitchen.
We are looking for a detailed oriented part-time cleaner to help turnover and reset rooms/suites. The work is contract based and pays $40 at 124 Lofts and $50 at Kildahl House per room reset. We typically average between 50 - 70 resets per month. Under normal circumstances a room can be reset in about an hour. The work requires availability between the hours of 11am and 3pm daily. Pay for each room reset performed will be direct deposited into your bank account within 3-5 business days. This job is perfect for a stay-at-home parent looking to make some supplemental income while the kids are off at school.
Responsibilities
- Clean, stock and supply hotel-style rooms (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, restroom cleaning etc.)
- Perform and document routine inspection and maintenance activities
- Launder bed lines and towels in our on-site laundry rooms
- Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs
- Stock and maintain supply rooms
- Follow all health and safety regulations
- All cleaning supplies are provided
Skills
- Proven working experience as a cleaner
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
- Familiarity with Material Safety Data Sheets
- Integrity, Detail Oriented
- High school degree preferred
