This is a full-time on-site role for a Speech Language Pathologist located in Bronx, NY. The Speech Language Pathologist will work directly with individuals to assess, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders. Responsibilities include creating customized therapy plans, providing treatment for communication and language difficulties, addressing dysphagia, and collaborating with care teams and families to enhance patient outcomes.
- Knowledge and expertise in Speech Therapy and Speech techniques
- Experience working with Dysphagia and managing swallowing disorders
- Proficiency in diagnosing and treating Communication Disorders
- Understanding and treatment of Language Disorders
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology (or equivalent) and appropriate licensing
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
