Bartender or server

Job Overview
We are seeking skilled and enthusiastic Bartenders and Servers to join our dynamic team. As a Bartender or server, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests while serving a variety of beverages and ensuring an exceptional customer experience. Must be able to work weekends, rotating weekends available. Late nights required. Kitchen is open til 11pm, bar is open til 2am on weekends. Must have bartending or serving experience in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
• Maintain an organized bar area, ensuring cleanliness and adherence to health and safety regulations.
• Engage with customers, providing excellent service and recommendations based on their preferences.
• Process transactions accurately using the cash register and our Toast POS system.
• Monitor inventory levels of beverages and supplies.
• Handle customer complaints or issues promptly and professionally, ensuring guest satisfaction.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service when applicable.

Skills

• Proven experience in bartending or food service industry is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of brewing techniques and cocktail recipes.
• Familiarity withToast POS system for efficient order processing.
• Excellent time management skills to handle busy shifts effectively.
• Ability to perform retail math for accurate cash handling and inventory management.
• Exceptional hospitality skills with a focus on creating memorable experiences for guests.
• Experience in fast paced environments is a plus but not required.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
• BASSET Certfication required (or must obtain within 2 weeks of hire)
• Food Handler certification a plus.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $19.87 - $28.00 per hour
