What are the responsibilities and job description for the Harvester I position at 12 Peaks Farms?
We're looking for a Harvester to join the team at our 12 Peaks Farms cultivation facility in beautiful Salida, CO.
Harvesters play an essential role to the success of the Long Play portfolio of brands. They can perform all the tasks related to harvest including, but not limited to de-leafing and preparing plants for the trim process, lifting 20 to 30 pounds, cleaning and re-setting the harvest area and working with a team to achieve the daily harvest goals. This is a physical position; you will be required to be on your feet during shift and be able to lift heavy loads.
All Long Play team members must adhere to state regulations and corporate standards. Successful team members demonstrate a high level of professionalism, work cooperatively and collaboratively with other departments, and assume accountability for compliance, performance, and overall behavior.
**Receive a $500 bonus after 90 days!
This position reports to a Harvest Supervisor.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prioritize Safety, Quality, and Regulatory Compliance
- Comply with all HR policies and employee handbook including punctuality, confidentiality, leave procedures and treating others with dignity and respect
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Helping in other departments as needed.
- All other duties associated with an agricultural operation as required
JOB DUTIES:
- Arrive to work physically and mentally prepared to work
- Capable of working with a team to achieve daily harvest goals
- Able to communicate in a respectful and professional manner
- Perform all necessary tasks in a timely fashion, which includes but is not limited to de-leafing, removing trellis, bucking, sorting, weighing plants, cutting plants, moving empty buckets, and re-setting the benches.
- Adhere to Pure Greens cultivation’s standard operating procedures
Job Qualifications:
- Valid Colorado MED Badge
- Reliable transportation
- Physical ability to lift 30 pounds
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time
- Basic computer literacy including email, spreadsheet maintenance and printing functions
