We are seeking a customer service focused shuttle drivers at Harrah's Cherokee Valley River Casino & Hotel in Murphy, NC. We provide first-class parking services and seek friendly, outgoing individuals with a desire to create a guest experience that exceeds the guest's expectations. We provide valet parking services seven days a week.
Shifts:
7:00 AM - 3:00 PM ($15/hour)
3:00 PM - 11:00 PM ($15/hour)
11:00 PM - 7:00 AM overnights ($18/hour)
What your work will consist of:
- Familiarity with the property to ensure valets and guests are transported as safely and quickly as possible.
- Loading and unloading luggage from transport vehicles.
- Track number of guests transported.
- Inspect interior and exterior of bus at beginning and end of every shift to ensure spotless condition; recommends servicing of the vehicle as necessary.
- Demonstrate a pleasant and enthusiastic demeanor at all times.
- Communicating with guests and answering any questions
- Filling vehicle with gas
- Vacuuming and wiping insides of vehicles
- Perform ancillary duties as directed
- Maintain professional appearance of yourself, your uniform and work area while on duty
- Be willing to accept constructive criticism
Requirements:
- Must have a valid driver's license with a clean motor vehicle record
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be able to lift 75 pounds
- Must have the ability to deal with a variety of people in a courteous and professional manner.
- One-year experience preferred.
- Must have basic knowledge of local area.
- Must be personable and outgoing.
- Must present a professional and impeccable appearance.
- Must perform duties with a sense of urgency.
- Fluency and literacy in English.
- Demonstrated excellent guest service skills.
- Ability to sit for long periods.
- Ability to operate vehicles with a variety of controls in a safe, efficient manner.
- Ability to tolerate noise, odors and vibrations without losing concentration.
- Ability to read a map and to follow verbal directions.
- Ability to assist passengers into and out of vehicle.
- Ability to handle large/heavy items up to 75 pounds and stand entire shift.
- Auditory and visual range must include immediate environment.
