Immediate Opening for a Pet Food Production Associate in the Dayton, Ohio area.

Responsibilities
- Responsible for handling, processing and packaging of raw meat products
- Operates meat-processing equipment.
- Maintaining a high regard for Food Safety, Health and Safety standards in work areas
- Preparing food ingredients by measuring, mixing, chopping, slicing, or otherwise processing them
- Monitoring of inventory levels
- Clearly communicate safety, quality, and production issues with department managers
- Monitor and maintain the performance of machine and process operations; includes conducting regular inspections of equipment.
- Ensure all associates are current in their training for assigned processes and all regulatory requirements. Maintain training records.
- Coach and provide effective feedback to associates; resolves conflicts.
- Implement other work assignments within the production department that includes training, technical support and/or process/trouble shooting support.
Qualifications
- Relevant experience is preferred; a degree in a relevant field will be considered.
- Detail oriented and quality focused.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor others.
- Demonstrated strong problem-solving skills.
- Forward thinking (drives for continuous improvements)
1st Shift: Monday through Thursday, 6:00am to 4:30pm.
3rd Shift: Sunday through Thursday, 7:30pm to 6:00am.
Weekend Shift: Friday, Saturday and Sunday, 6:00am to 6:30pm. *Paid for 40 hours!
