Scope of Position:
Responsible for inspecting, inventorying, repairing, and preparing (cleaning and prepping) trade show exhibits to ensure flawless execution and setup.
Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints for both new and existing tradeshow exhibits.
- Collaborate with the Account Manager and Exhibit Preparation Supervisor to ensure exhibit components are prepared safely, accurately, and on schedule.
- Perform basic repairs using knowledge of laminating, Bondo, epoxies, and paint application techniques.
- Safely and effectively operate basic hand tools.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of current and past projects.
- Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by management.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proficiency with Windows 7 or later. Familiarity with Microsoft Office 2010 or later, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
- Capable of applying common sense to follow detailed but straightforward written or verbal instructions. Able to troubleshoot and resolve basic issues using standardized procedures.
- Forklift driving certification (ECI certification required).
- Occasional travel may be required for training purposes.
Physical Demands:
- Regularly required to stand for extended periods.
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.
- Items exceeding 75 pounds will be moved using a forklift.
