We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator to perform and manage a laser brazing process on a Haas CNC-based laser welding machine, as well as a tube bending process on an automated tube bending machine. This role is responsible for the complete operation—from inbound receiving of materials through production and outbound shipping to the customer. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, mechanically inclined, and capable of setting up, running, and optimizing both processes while ensuring quality and efficiency.

Position Summary

This role is responsible for the complete operation—from inbound receiving of materials through production and outbound shipping to the customer. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, mechanically inclined, and capable of setting up, running, and optimizing both processes while ensuring quality and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate a Haas CNC-based laser welding machine for laser brazing applications.
- Set up and operate an automated tube bending machine.
- Manage and oversee the full production process, including inbound receiving, material flow, and outbound shipping.
- Set up tooling on both the laser brazing system and the tube bender.
- Run and understand the laser brazing process, including:
- Performing leak checks and visual quality inspections
- Changing gases and braze wire
- Loading and maintaining the wire feeder system
- Learn, operate, and optimize the tube bending process; supervise and guide support personnel running the tube bender as needed.
- Monitor and adjust processes to achieve required quality and performance standards.
- Troubleshoot equipment, perform basic maintenance, and resolve process issues.
- Manage inventory related to the process, including:
- Laser braze pans
- Unbent and bent tubes
- Gases and braze wire
- Additional consumables and tooling
- Ensure all parts meet customer quality requirements prior to shipment.
- Strong understanding of CNC machine controls and G-code programming.
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot equipment and perform basic machine maintenance.
- Experience with or ability to learn laser welding/brazing processes.
- Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to manage workflows and oversee assisting personnel when required.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Experience with 3D modeling software such as SolidWorks.
- Prior experience with automated tube bending equipment.
- Experience managing end-to-end manufacturing processes.
