POSITION SUMMARY:
The Business Center Specialist assists hotel/convention customers and hotel staff with all services provided by the business center.
The Business Center Specialist is responsible for delivering excellent customer service and building business relationships with clients by providing prompt and accurate service, including communicating and coordinating with others to resolve inquires.
The Business Center Specialist fulfills print production, and other service requests including print production, shipping, copy and internet usage in accordance with 11th Hour’s established policies and procedures.
The Business Center Specialist supports the manager in all aspects of business center operations to ensure that all customer service expectations are met and delivered in accordance with 11th Hour's brand standards.
This position is instrumental in helping the 11th Hour team deliver superior customer service and establish itself as an extension of the assigned hotel’s hospitality team.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma, some college preferred.
- Experience in working with a variety of office equipment
- Prior customer service experience.
- Print shop production experience preferred.
- High volume shipping experience, using FedEx and UPS preferred.
- At least 18 years of age.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
- Demonstrated ability to work well with customers and deliver excellent customer service.
- Outstanding communication and listening skills as it pertains to associates, management, clients and vendors. The ability to express thoughts clearly, both verbally and in writing.
- Detail oriented, with a strong sense of time management, the ability to plan and prioritize according to the changing needs of the business.
- Strong computer skills with knowledge of MS Office suite.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and evenings to meet Business Center and/or Shipping Department demands. Standard operating hours are 7AM to 7PM 7 days per week.
- Capable of standing during entire shift, excluding meal and rest periods.
- Capable of moving and lifting 50 pounds.
- Ability on a consistent basis, to bend/twist at the waist and knees.
- Ability on a consistent basis, to function in a fast-paced environment, under substantial pressure.
- Ability, on a consistent basis, to maintain attention and concentration for extended periods of time.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
