About the Role: Grade Level (for internal use): 10 The Team: Our Business Development team for the Equity Analytics Products (EAP) identifies new revenue opportunities and expands the business’s market presence through strategic partnerships and client engagement. We work closely with product and sales teams to shape go-to-market strategies, communicate the value of our data offerings, and drive adoption across key customer segments. Our team plays a central role in positioning the EAP business lines for long-term growth and industry impact. EAP is made up of the following group of products Securities Finance and Short Interest data, ETF and Benchmarking Solutions, and Dividend Forecasting. Responsibilities & Impact: Strategic Planning: Develop and implement business development strategies to expand our market presence in Securities Finance, Dividend Forecasting, and ETF and Benchmarking Solutions. Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape within the equity analytics space. Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, industry partners, and internal teams to foster collaboration and drive business growth. Product Development: Collaborate with product management and development teams to enhance existing products and identify new product opportunities based on market demand and client feedback. Sales Support: Provide support to the sales team by developing sales materials, participating in client presentations, and assisting in negotiations to close deals. Performance Monitoring: Establish KPIs and metrics to track the performance of business development initiatives and report on progress to senior management. Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of business development professionals, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement. Compensation/Benefits Information (US Applicants Only): S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $83,313 to $112,000. Base salary ranges may vary by geographic location. In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an incentive plan. This role is eligible to receive additional S&P Global benefits. What We’re Looking For: Basic Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA preferred. 7 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role within the financial services industry. Strong understanding of equity analytics products, specifically in Securities Finance, Dividend Forecasting, and ETF and Benchmarking Solutions. Proven ability to develop and execute successful business development strategies. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
