Cloud Software Developer - Engineer, Senior

Job Area: Engineering Group, Engineering Group > Software Engineering General Summary: We are looking for a talented, motivated, and experienced Cloud developers. As part of the IoT (Internet of Things) team you will be working on the next generation of IoT products. This role includes research and analysis of SW solutions for next generation IoT products. Develop prototypes and proof of concepts to evaluate incremental as well as radical new architectures. Develop SW components that are scalable, available, and secure. We are looking for talented and motivated team players who are passionate about software design and development. Minimum Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2 years of Software Engineering or related work experience. OR Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1 year of Software Engineering or related work experience. OR PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field. • 2 years of academic or work experience with Programming Language such as C, C , Java, Python, etc. Preferred Qualifications: Proficiency with a modern server-side language such as C#, Java, Node or Python. Proficiency in JavaScript, jQuery, TypeScript, ES6, jQuery, JSON Experience with Cloud services and applications such as SaaS, PaaS, IaaS Experience working with leading infrastructure vendors such as AWS, Azure. Experience designing and building backend REST APIs using ASP.NET WebAPI or Django. Experience working with SQL databases such as SQL Server or MySQL. Experience working with NoSQL stores such as ElasticSearch, MongoDB, AWS S3, etc. Familiarity with microservice architecture patterns. Pay range: $104,000.00 - $156,000.00 The above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, pay scale for this job code for the location for which it has been posted.
