Position Highlights: Shift Schedule: PRN, various shifts to cover for CT Technologist staff who are off work Location:Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center, Winston-Salem Campus What You'll Need: Associate Degree from an approved Radiologic Technology / CT Scanning Program ARRT registered in Radiography and/or CT Specialty (or registry eligible & certified within 1 year of hire) Valid BLS Provider certification Preferred- 6 months of experience as a Diagnostic Rad Tech or CT Tech Good communication skills, both orally and written, to maintain excellent interpersonal relationships with the public and internal staff members. Basic knowledge of computer systems, applications, and job specific precautions to maintain a safe working environment that fosters teamwork. Job Responsibilities (include but are not limited to): Performs high-quality CT and diagnostic/interventional procedures, including contrast administration; maintains required education and credentials through completing required competencies & CEs. Maintains precise patient records through data entry, offers instruction and education to healthcare personnel and patients, and provides age-appropriate care. Responds to emergencies and provides on-call coverage outside regular hours as needed. Promotes teamwork bycontributing to service quality through collaborating with colleagues, ensuring equipment readiness, verifies supply availability, and maintains equipment knowledge.
