Provides technical guidance and oversight on complex implementations. Leads team members in problem analysis and issue resolution. Manages projects through the software development life cycle, including analysis, design, specification, implementation, go-live, and support. Recommends process, technology, and interface improvements to enhance team effectiveness and integration engine performance. Analyzes and proposes solutions for interface projects and problems. Gathers and documents project requirements, analyzes current functionality, and assesses the impact of future design decisions. Reads, comprehends, and creates technical specifications and documentation. Researches and provides solutions for new technologies or interface standards. Designs changes and enhancements, including routing, mapping, and scripting logic. Diagrams high-level and detailed interface designs and creates detailed conformance documents. Develops integration solutions and interfaces using standards or protocols like HL7, CCD, XML, X12, FTP, FHIR, web services, API, etc., according to specifications for complex projects. Codes interface logic using languages such as ObjectScripts, Korn shell, etc. Effectively uses interface engines like Health Connect, Epic Bridges, or comparable systems to support integration needs. Troubleshoots and resolves issues, escalates if necessary. Mentors team members and participates in on-call rotation.
