Manages budgets and resources, maintains appropriate staffing and understands healthcare finance. Leads and supports performance and quality improvement initiatives, implements evidence-based practice changes, and ensures compliance with professional standards and hospital policies. Utilizes critical thinking and technology in decision-making, problem-solving, and integrating new systems to enhance patient care and outcomes. Provides strong leadership and mentorship, ensures high-quality clinical care, supports staff development, and maintains clear communication and planning for patient care delivery. Cerner medical record experience preferred. • Maintain clinical competencies and is able to fully assist at the bedside. • Collaborates with leadership and staff to define and refine goals consistent with the organization's mission and goals, taking into consideration all populations served. • Empowers and supports staff in educational offerings related to career growth and professional development. • Demonstrates leadership behaviors and attitudes consistent with the organization's philosophy, mission, and goals. • Demonstrates knowledge of state, federal, and regulatory standards that guide services by ensuring compliance through updating policies, practices, and procedures. • Supervises and develops work schedules, monitors utilization of resources, and participates in budget oversight with a focus on cost-saving measures. • Demonstrates high level of prioritization, time management, and the ability to take corrective action when necessary.
