Role Description: The Maintenance and Reliability Engineer Intern will be responsible for engineering and implementing maintenance improvement projects at the Loudon facility. This is a hands-on engineering role that will provide valuable experience in equipment reliability, maintenance optimization, and project management. The intern will work on projects that have a direct impact on the plant's operational efficiency and uptime. Additional housing stipend from $1,500 to $3,000 depending on work and candidate's location. Key Projects & Responsibilities: Engineer and implement modification maintenance improvement projects. Focus on critical spare parts selection and optimization. Engineer replacements for obsolete parts. Determine stocking levels for various parts and materials. Work on small design projects to improve equipment reliability and maintainability. Skills & Qualifications: Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, Chemical Engineering, or a related field. Ideal candidate will have completed Junior-level coursework and have previous intern or technical experience. Strong attention to detail. Ability to use and develop intermediate to advanced skills with Microsoft Excel, AutoCAD, and statistical analysis software (e.g., Minitab, JMP).
