NA The Assistant, GC General provides support by performing routine tasks within the team, such as document preparation, data entry, recording legal transactions, and updating legal information. This role performs key administrative tasks needed for the team to smoothly investigate, analyse, and resolve legal matters, as well as ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and accuracy in legal data and documentation. The roles and responsibilities of this job include: Supports the General Counsel team with administrative tasks, including preparation of legal documents, filing, and data entry, to support the smooth operation of legal processes and procedures Maintains accurate and up-to-date records, complying with confidentiality and data protection regulations Supports the team in the preparation and distribution of legal communications, such as written memos, notices, and newsletters to support the team Responds to simple legal and non-legal enquiries and requests for information, directing them to the appropriate team members or resources as required Collaborates with team members to complete projects and legal assignments, demonstrating flexibility and willingness to contribute to team goals Maintains a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks, ensuring quality and reliability in the work performed Roles at this level have no supervisory responsibilities Completion of some formal training or equivalent experience in relevant field Works under close supervision and follow established procedures and guidelines Strong attention to detail and organisational skills, with the ability to maintain accurate records and perform tasks efficiently Proficiency in basic computer skills, including data entry Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with team members to achieve common goals This role reports to Partner and Deputy General Counsel, Head of Claims & Investigations Equal Opportunities White & Case is an Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) employer and is committed to creating a fair workplace.
