Ultrasound Technologist I

Hourly Pay Range: $33.35 - $51.69 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors. Ultrasound Technologist- Days Position Highlights: Position: Ultrasound Technologist Location: Evanston Hospital Full Time/Part Time: Full Time 40 hours Hours: Monday-Friday 9:30 AM-6 PM, rotating weekends Call: 6-8 calls per month/ as needed Required Travel: Local- Skokie as needed What you will do: Perform ultrasound exam Prepare patients for exam: obtains and records history, explains procedure, positions patients and ensures their comfort Interprets ultrasound Cleans and maintains equipment Schedules patients if necessary What you will need: License: N/A Education: High School Diploma, GED or equivalent work experience Certification: CPR-BLS required. Completion of formal ultrasound program approved by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers required.
