11 to Midnight is seeking a reliable and experienced Wardrobe Swing / Substitute Wardrobe Supervisor for immediate short term coverage through May 31, 2026.
This is a short-term, as-needed position covering wardrobe supervision duties for performances, rehearsals, brush-ups, and occasional emergency coverage for our current Off-Broadway run at the Orpheum Theatre.
About the Show
From Hideaway Circus and Cost n’ Mayor, 11 to Midnight is a high-energy, movement-driven dance theatre production currently running Off-Broadway in New York City.
The role is ideal for someone comfortable working in a fast-paced backstage environment with quick changes, dancewear maintenance, laundry, presets, and live theatrical performance operations.
Responsibilities
- Oversee wardrobe operations during assigned performances and rehearsal calls
- Execute and maintain costume presets and quick changes
- Perform laundry, steaming, repairs, and emergency fixes as needed
- Maintain wardrobe paperwork and backstage organization
- Coordinate with Stage Management and Production Management
- Ensure costumes are reset and performance-ready each night
- Help maintain a calm, efficient backstage environment
Qualifications
- Prior experience in theatrical wardrobe, wardrobe supervision, dance, touring, circus, or live entertainment preferred
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and troubleshoot quickly backstage
- Comfortable with sewing repairs and garment maintenance
- Ability to remain calm under pressure during live performance conditions
- NYC-based or able to work locally in Manhattan
Schedule / Term
- Immediate start

- Swing / substitute coverage basis
- Evening and weekend availability strongly preferred
Compensation
- Paid hourly or day rate depending on assignment structure and experience
