About the Job As a Respiratory Therapist, you’ll provide comprehensive respiratory care across the hospital, ensuring patients receive safe and effective treatment. You’ll collaborate with physicians, nurses, allied staff, patients, and families while managing life-support equipment, performing diagnostic procedures, and responding to emergencies. What You’ll Do Coordinate and deliver respiratory treatments in collaboration with the care team Administer medications per physician orders and monitor for adverse reactions Perform arterial blood gas draws, analysis, and related quality checks Manage mechanical ventilation, BiPAP/CPAP, and other respiratory support systems Respond to codes, rapid response calls, and airway emergencies Conduct EKGs, Holter, and Event Monitor setups; reconcile orders using Epiphany software Ensure respiratory equipment is maintained and functioning properly Assist in training new staff and orienting student interns Who You Are Graduate of an AMA-approved Respiratory Practitioner program Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT); Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) preferred Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner in New Hampshire Current CPR certification; ACLS, NRP, and PALS preferred Critical thinker with the ability to multitask and remain calm in high-stress situations Team-oriented, adaptable, and committed to delivering compassionate patient care No prior experience required; one year in an acute care setting preferred Why You’ll Love Us Health, dental, prescription, and vision coverage for full-time & part-time employees Short-term, long-term disability, life & pet insurance Tuition reimbursement & Nursing Student Loan Paydown Program 403(b) retirement savings plans Continuous earned time accrual & more!
