10x Genomics is looking for a Procurement Supply Chain Intern to support our US Global Procurement team. This 10–12 week internship focuses on executing a specific set of high-impact projects centered on master data management and process improvement. You will help us maintain accurate procurement records, document our workflows, and build tools that track our team's progress. What You Will Be Doing
- Data & Automation: Use Excel or data programming tools to simplify routine tasks and improve productivity for the procurement team.
- Documentation: Create clear, step-by-step instructions for Oracle workflow processes to help standardize how we work.
- KPI Tracking: Assist in building and updating dashboards that visualize procurement performance and project milestones.
- Assisting with on-going system enhancement projects / initiatives
- Collaboration: Partner with members of the Procurement, IT, and Finance teams to support ongoing system initiatives.
- Able to commit to 10-12 week internship
- Minimum a junior or senior in college or recent graduate for a Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Operations, Business Management, Economics, or Supply Chain Management
- Clear understanding of procure-to-pay process and related transactions
- Understanding of ERP and MRP systems procurement and planning tools such as Oracle, SAP, QAD or other commonly used manufacturing software. 10x presently uses Oracle for P2P management.
- Ability to interpret, model, and analyze data
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills
- Direct experience with procurement or supply chain in an established life science, medical device or biotechnology related organization
- Proficiency in BI tools (such as Tableau) and Excel Macro is an added advantage
- Experience working within cross functional project teams with diverse stakeholders
