Senior Vice President of Data and AI

Role Overview:

We are seeking a client-centric, strategic, and deeply technical leader to join as our Senior Vice President of Data and AI. As a global AI-powered digital engineering and transformation services company, our value lies in helping customers solve their most complex business problems through data and AI.

This role is ideal for a leader who brings strong consulting instincts—someone who can sit with a customer, understand their business objectives, uncover opportunities, and architect the right AI-enabled solutions. You will combine hands-on technical expertise with the ability to influence C-suite stakeholders, shape roadmaps, and guide customers through their AI transformation journeys.

You will lead a multidisciplinary team of Data Scientists, Data/AI Engineers, and Architects, while also driving growth through strategic advisory, solutioning, and thought leadership. The ideal candidate has a proven record of delivering enterprise-grade AI solutions within a services or consulting organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Advisory & Solution Leadership

• Serve as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders, helping them understand AI opportunities, risks, and pathways to business value.
• Lead customer discovery sessions to assess needs, define business problems, and shape data/AI strategies aligned to measurable outcomes.
• Translate client requirements into actionable solution architectures, proposals, and delivery roadmaps.
• Support sales and customer teams in presales engagements, value articulation, RFP responses, and executive briefings.

AI Architecture & Strategic Direction

• Architect advanced AI/ML and agentic systems that align business needs with technical feasibility, compliance, resilience, and cost efficiency.
• Make key architectural decisions and establish patterns, frameworks, and standards for scalable delivery across clients.

Delivery Oversight & Technical Excellence

• Provide hands-on leadership across the AI lifecycle—from solution concept through model development, deployment, and optimization.
• Guide delivery teams to ensure solutions meet client expectations for performance, reliability, and business impact.
• Bring structure, governance, and best practices to multi-project, multi-client environments.

Team Leadership & Consulting Capability Building

• Build and mentor a hybrid team of engineers, data scientists, architects, and solution consultants.
• Develop consulting skills within the technical organization, including client communication, storytelling, and business-case thinking.
• Foster a collaborative culture grounded in excellence, innovation, and client value creation.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Partner with sales, account leadership, delivery, product management, and client success teams to ensure seamless solution development and execution.
• Communicate complex AI concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholder groups.

Deployment Across Varied Environments

• Oversee deployment of LLMs, SLMs, and other ML models across on-prem, private cloud, and public cloud environments (AWS / Azure / GCP).
• Lead the adoption of MLOps and scalable operational frameworks to ensure long-term reliability of client solutions.

Thought Leadership & Innovation

• Represent the company in client workshops, industry forums, and executive discussions as a subject matter expert.
• Keep the organization at the forefront of evolving AI technologies, frameworks, and best practices.

Required Qualifications:

• Experience delivering data/AI solutions within a technology services or consulting organization, ideally in client-facing leadership roles.
• Demonstrated ability to architect scalable AI solutions that solve real customer problems and drive measurable business outcomes.
• Deep practical experience in:
• Machine Learning: End-to-end model development and deployment
• Foundation Models: Fine-tuning and optimizing LLMs and SLMs
• Prompt Engineering & Context Optimization
• Agentic & Multi-Agent Systems
• Proven experience deploying and operationalizing AI solutions across cloud and hybrid environments.
• Hands-on proficiency with agentic frameworks (e.g., Crew.ai) and modern MLOps/lifecycle management approaches.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience designing and deploying deep learning models in predictive analytics, computer vision, audio processing, or NLP.
• Proficiency with modern AI/ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and JAX.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, AI, or related quantitative field.
