The Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City is seeking a night shift supervisor to lead Federal Reserve Law Enforcement Officers. The anticipated start date is March 17th , 2026. Mandatory training will occur at the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City March 18th – April 17th and at another Federal Reserve Bank location requiring travel, April 20th – May 8th, 2026. Please note, the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City is not a government agency, therefore this is not a government position. Ensures compliance with Federal Reserve System, Bank, and Department policies, procedures, guidance and standards. Enforces appropriate Federal Laws. Detains persons identified through NCIC with active warrants for local law enforcement. Ensures assigned LE staff effectively controls access to Bank and high security Law Enforcement areas, including inspecting individuals, their property, and/or vehicles. Ensures LE staff perform interior and exterior and security Law Enforcement patrols, and checks, and escorts visitors through sensitive or restricted areas in accordance with department procedures and guidance. During an assigned shift, ensures LE staff are handling routine law enforcement calls for service and requests from Bank population, including visitors. Prepares, reviews and approves detailed incident reports of emergencies and routine events. Occasionally performs activities performed by sworn officers (FRLEOs) including, but not limited to life safety systems and equipment, integrated access control and Law Enforcement alarm systems, x-ray machine, metal detectors, radio system, fire system, public address system, and fire extinguishers. Wears law enforcement uniform, including utility belt, ballistic vest and handgun, while on duty. Performs other duties as assigned. Requirements: Typically does not require any previous formal leadership role; experience demonstrating leadership skills informally required. Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, or equivalent combination of directly related education and/or work experience. Must be at least 21 years old. Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record. Excellent oral and interpersonal communications skills. Write clear, concise, and grammatically correct documents. Working knowledge in the use of PCs, email, and ability to learn other computer based/MS Office applications. Previous law enforcement experience required. This position is contingent upon successful completion of a comprehensive background investigation, psychological examination, agility, physical, and drug screening, as well as the ability to lawfully carry a firearm. These screenings will be initiated at the time of offer acceptance and must be successfully completed prior to the position start date. Continued employment after your start date is contingent upon successful completion of ongoing training and supplemental screenings including, but not limited to: Basic Law Enforcement Training Course (BLEC), New Officer Field Training Program (FTO), in-service law enforcement training, weapons qualifications, annual drug screening, background reinvestigations and successfully maintaining Federal Reserve Law Enforcement Officer certification requirements. Additional Information: Location(s): Kansas City Work Shift: Third Shift Monday – Friday, 10:00 p.m. – 6:00 a.m. work schedule, occasional weekend and holiday work is required. Pay Range: The starting pay range for this position is $72,800 to $94,300 for the job level(s) required for this position. Final offers are determined by factors including the candidate’s qualifications, internal alignment considerations, district assignment, and geographic location.
