As a key player in our delivery network, you will be responsible for safely transporting packages using your personal vehicle, ensuring timely and professional service to our customers. Your expertise in commercial driving, route management, and manual handling will be vital to our success.
We also have a contract which entails delivering lab specimen pick ups and deliveries and also medication deliveries
Duties
- Safely operate a personal vehicle for delivery routes, adhering strictly to traffic laws and DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations.
- transfer lab specimens from clinics to the drop off point.
- keep your vehicle clean inside and out
- pick ups are usually on demand and need to be picked up as quickly as possible and dropped off as quickly as possible. you are encouraged to use Google Maps, Apple car play, and you can even take a friend with you if it will ensure you getting there quickly ensuring timely pickups and drop-offs.
- Provide exceptional customer service by delivering packages with professionalism, addressing customer inquiries politely, and ensuring a positive experience.
- specimens are very lightweigh, no heavy lifting require.
- Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries, including proof of delivery, by taking and submitting pictures and updating the app if needed.
Qualifications
- knowledge of the area is very helpful
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record;
- a dependable vehicle is required and it should be a 2013 or newer and currently registered and can pass inspection
- Strong route driving skills with experience using mobile devices for navigation and communication.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally.
