Duties / Responsibilities:
• Maintain current master copy of all documents in the office including supplier data, supplier audit reports, for all NTA reporting.
• Distribute materials pertaining to quality control changes conduct training sessions to communicate changes to all affected areas.
• Maintain the content, posting, and training of all quality standards throughout the facility.
• Develop ISO9001-2015 documentation for all quality aspects within the facility. • Review and monitor any production/quality deviations.
• Review service trends on a weekly basis to reveal any weak areas in the production process.
• Follow-up with all paper work distributions to assure changes are understood and being made in accordance with distributed quality standards and in accordance to all ISO9001 standards.
• Perform line inspections daily to insure all quality standards are being followed.
• Inspect all in process documentation is being filled out and completed in accordance to the quality standards and ISO9001.
• Conduct daily lab testing on all retained samples and document findings.
• Update QA data base with all documented tests and process data on a daily basis.
• Manage, train, mentor and provide guidance to QA associates within the facility
• De-brief General Manager and Production Manager of daily QA findings and ensure they sign the report.
• Training • Responsible for ensuring monthly ISO9001 and Quality Standards training with team members.(more frequently as necessary in areas identified by repetitive or other quality issues)
• Ensure QA Administrative database for Training is updated routinely.
• Assist with training all new team members and department transfers.
• Training and review of new product or processes within the facility.
• Report all quality control and ISO9001 non conformances. All findings are to be answered properly by the QA Manager and Area Manager. Each Area Manager that had a non-conformance found in their area must be documented and answered with the use of RCA (Root Cause Analysis). These forms must be filed and maintained to eliminate repeat issues.
• Keep the General Manager and Production Manager aware of problem areas and the top three issues
. • Keep the Home Office aware of repetitive issues, new materials, and any new code interpretations.
• Maintain any QA information boards as required.
Qualifications:
• BS or equivalent QA Management experience.
• 4 years’ proven experience Managing other preferred.
• 4 years of QA experience preferred.
• 4 years of ISO9001 experience preferred.
• Must be able to communicate efficiently and clearly with customers, peers and team leaders both verbally (in person / over the phone) and in writing.
• Ability to comprehend technical drawings and product specifications.
Physical Demands:
• Must be able to walk, climb, lift loads of at least 50 lbs., and perform such other physical duties as may be necessary to carry out the specific and general duties described above.
• Must be able to consistently operate a computer and other office productivity machinery such as telephone, calculator, copy machine, computer printer, etc.
• Must be able to communicate with others via phone, email, and in person. Must be able to exchange accurate information with others.
• Constantly works in an indoor, temperature-controlled, sealed-window office environment.
• Work primarily involves sitting / standing
