Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the dining room team, including servers, hosts, bartenders, and support staff, ensuring smooth shift operations.
- Manage POS systems (Toast).
- Maintain inventory control by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste to optimize profitability.
- Implement staff training programs focused on customer service excellence, food safety, food handling procedures, and operational protocols.
- Coordinate with kitchen management to ensure seamless food production, timely service, and adherence to health regulations.
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and ensure every guest leaves satisfied with their dining experience.
- Oversee shift management duties including scheduling
- Conduct interviewing in conjunction with GM
- Support catering events and banquet functions when needed to diversify revenue streams.
Experience
- Proven management experience within the food service industry, ideally in casual or fine dining environments.
- Strong background in restaurant cultures.
- Familiarity with POS systems Toast a big plus
- Demonstrated supervising experience with a focus on team development and training & development initiatives.
- Experience managing schedules.
- Previous roles involving shift management, customer service excellence, and hospitality leadership are highly valued.
