As a Domain Registrar, we develop our core technologies in-house, connecting to Domain Registries worldwide and dozens of other partner systems. Our continuous in-house development spans our website, CMS, ERP, provisioning and transaction processing, and many other critical services. While we leverage 3rd party SaaS platforms like Jira, Confluence, Github, Asana, and Google Workspace Enterprise for business and technology support, our primary focus is on internal development. Position Summary:

The Business and Technical Project Manager will play a pivotal role in streamlining project management processes, improving team efficiency, and translating business requirements into technical specifications. This role demands a strong understanding of project management methodologies, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to drive projects from planning to closure.

What You'll Do:

• Project Management: Lead the planning, execution, and closure of diverse business and technical projects. Define scope, create plans, manage timelines, track progress, and mitigate risks. Utilize Jira, Confluence, and Asana effectively to manage projects and facilitate communication.
• Requirements Gathering and Documentation: Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to understand needs and translate them into clear, concise technical requirements and flowcharts. Document requirements for both technical and non-technical audiences in Confluence.
• Communication and Collaboration: Facilitate seamless communication and collaboration between business stakeholders and the development team. Act as a liaison, ensuring alignment on project details, goals, and deliverables. Conduct regular project status meetings and manage expectations.
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance existing project management processes and implement best practices. Contribute to the refinement of methodologies and drive the company's Jira utilization and documentation strategies.
• Team Support: Assist developers in breaking down tasks, creating roadmaps, and ensuring the quality and scope of tasks. Challenge project estimations and methodologies to optimize resource utilization and problem-solving. Maintain an organized backlog and follow up with developers on their technical product owner responsibilities. Assist with manual testing.
• Reporting and Performance Management: Provide regular updates to management on development team progress and activities. Assist in tracking KPIs and providing feedback.
• Additional Responsibilities: Build strong stakeholder relationships, incorporate generative AI and automation for productivity gains and content foundations, and stay updated on software and technology trends.

What You Bring:

• Strong understanding of software development principles and project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall).
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• A strong personality with the ability to direct resources and communicate firmly.
• Proficiency in Google Workspace, Jira, Confluence, and Asana.
• Strong understanding of customer-facing SaaS business operations, e-commerce systems, complex ERP systems, data management, and processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Experience in the domain name industry is a plus.
• Experience and strong interest in generative AI and automation is a plus.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science).
• Proven experience (5 years preferred) as a Business and/or Technical Project Manager in a fast-paced e-commerce and SaaS environment.
